Paediatric First Aid One Day course
The 1-Day Paediatric First Aid course provides essential knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently to common childhood injuries, illnesses and emergencies. The course is designed for individuals who work with or care for babies and young children.
What's included:
Training covers paediatric CPR, AED awareness, choking, unconscious casualties, bleeding, burns, fractures, head injuries, seizures, allergic reactions, asthma, anaphylaxis, shock and other common childhood emergencies.
Candidates learn how to assess situations, provide appropriate first aid, respond safely to emergencies and care for a child or infant until professional medical assistance arrives.
On successful completion, candidates demonstrate the practical knowledge and skills required to provide effective first aid to babies and young children.
