The 3-Day First Aid at Work (FAW) course provides comprehensive training in workplace first aid, equipping candidates with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of injuries and medical emergencies.
Whats Included
The course covers first aid procedures, casualty assessment, CPR and AED use, unconscious casualties, choking, bleeding, shock, fractures, burns, spinal injuries, chest injuries, seizures, diabetic emergencies, asthma, anaphylaxis, poisoning and other common workplace conditions.
Candidates also learn how to manage emergency situations safely, provide appropriate treatment, monitor casualties and respond effectively while awaiting professional medical assistance.
On successful completion, candidates receive the First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification, enabling them to act as a workplace first aider and provide appropriate first aid support in an emergency.
