Emergency First Aid at Work 1 Day course
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides essential knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently to workplace emergencies. The course covers the immediate actions required to assess and assist an injured or unwell person until professional medical help arrives.
What's included
Training includes first aid principles, scene assessment, CPR, use of an AED, managing unconscious casualties, choking, bleeding, shock, minor injuries, and common workplace emergencies. Candidates learn how to respond safely and effectively while maintaining the wellbeing and dignity of the casualty.
On successful completion, candidates are able to provide appropriate emergency first aid in the workplace and support a safer working environment.
