The Lido Afternoon Tea Dance (Swing)

Saltdean Lido is delighted to announce the return of Tea Dances to the iconic Ballroom!

You are invited to spend an afternoon dancing Swing in the stunning surroundings of the Art Deco Ballroom.

Step back in time and learn some classic Lindy Hop moves.  It's a joyful dance born in the vibrant 1930s swing era and a friendly, fun, sociable activity. Come along by yourself or with a partner. Dress to impress or be comfortable, We recommend flat or low heeled shoes.

You will receive a warm welcome whether you’re a total beginner or regular dancer.

Our very own Lindy Hop teacher Annie Corpe of Brighthelm Swing will be on hand to lead an opening taster class and host throughout the social dancing. are invited to spend an afternoon dancing Swing & Lindy Hop in the stunning surroundings of the Art Deco Ballroom.

Delicious Tea & Cake will be provided by Deco Café (included in your ticket price).

It promises to be an afternoon to remember!

Running Time

2pm – 2.45pm: Intro Taster Class of Lindy Hop

3pm: Tea & Cake served

2.45 – 4.30pm: Time for Social Dancing to popular Swing dance tunes
